Seasons aren't one of them. Actually, it is one of them. Just not four of them. Hot or hotter takes care of the forecast for so much of the year. It used to get colder, sometimes even cold, but not so much anymore, at least as far as I can tell.
But what do I know? Well, I do know that the one question everyone in the Valley has this time of year is also the question that we answer on this week's episode of Valley 101, a podcast by The Arizona Republic and azcentral.com: When does fall start in Arizona?

Which is kind of a story in itself. Meteorologist sounds like a TV job, and with good reason. It usually is. And in fact, Tevian used to be a TV meteorologist. But now he's in the Valley, breaking down data and making forecasts and telling readers what they need to know about the weather.
