Oklahoma City Thunder wing Jalen Williams suffered a gruesome leg injury on Sunday, Oct. 25, late in his team's 108-101 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
Williams, a Gilbert (Arizona) Perry High product, was hit hard on a hard drive to the basket and landed very awkwardly on his ankle. He had to be carted off the court.
Video caught the moment, and Williams' reaction, on video. He immediately knew it was a very serious injury.

Reaction to Jalen Williams' injury for Oklahoma City Thunder
Williams' teammate, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, was shown on the broadcast of the game visibly shaken up after the injury, covering his eyes with
his jersey while crying. The Thunder star also fought back tears in his postgame interview.
“I don’t even know,” Gilgeous-Alexander said about his feelings after the game, calling Williams "a warrior."
“I just feel bad for him," Gilgeous-Alexander said. "Nothing more than that. It’s obviously going to be tough without a player like that, but he’s not gone forever. He’ll be back better than ever, and we know it. We’ve just got to hold the fort down until he comes back."

I can’t stand the Thunder team because they are so good.

Just the worst part about sports 100% https://t.co/VgmO8giEgY
