I would never tell people how to spend their money.
If you want to spend your hard-earned money on tickets to see Arizona Cardinals games, that is your choice.
If you want to spend money on billboards urging Arizona Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill to sell the team, that is your choice.
If you want to do both, that is your choice. If you want to do neither, that is your choice.
Some people have criticized the crowdfunding campaign from some Arizona Cardinals fans to purchase billboards against Bidwill and the state of the franchise right now, prompting debate on social media about the effectiveness of such an endeavor.

Honest question to the people who keep saying this is a waste of money,

What else are we supposed to do? Just sit back and be miserable?
I’ll be ecstatic if we get a team president… I’ll start a campaign to donate to Phoenix Children’s Hospital if we get a team president.
Is Cardinals' billboard campaign a waste of money? Social media reacts
It's a way to make voices heard. That is never a waste. Especially attention it's generated.
— Espo (@Espo) October 16, 2026
I won’t be satisfied until this makes national headlines. I’m so tired of Bidwill’s circus. Enough is enough.
— #BidwillOut (@PHXFlock) October 16, 2026
It isn’t a waste of money. This is going to get even more media coverage as this picks up, which Bidwill will see. There’s no better way to make our voices heard than this
— colt (@TheOGcolt) October 16, 2026
Those who criticize the effort without suggesting ways to improve it, don’t get a seat at the table. They’ve opted out.
— Christopher Maddox (@maddox_lglp) October 16, 2026
Because ultimately, they’re advocating for indifference and acceptance — talk about a pathetic and hopeless strategy.
There's always a Negative Ned or Nellie out there. Ignore. You're making something Happen!!!
— Jan Krygier (@JanKrygier1) October 16, 2026
I have doubts on it’s effects but you do you.
— Damer (@thedamer) October 16, 2026
Don't listen to them bro. It's easy for them to sit back and tell you how you should have done it while they sit back and do nothing
— Travis (@cynicalAZfan) October 17, 2026
Maybe they should raise money next time and do it their way
Not a waste at all. You’re actually doing something with your platform and I respect it!

All we want is a reason to show up. Until the product on the field is better there will continue to be fan boycotting signage
— Ashtro (@Ashtrro) October 16, 2026
Then make the campaign about something reasonable like a team President. Forcing somebody to sell something that’s theirs is just ridiculous at best and in any other form than a football team, would be a downright scary proposition of mob mentality. Just can’t get behind that.
— T.J. Shope (@TJShope) October 16, 2026
100% justified.
— RLatimer (@RLatimer6) October 17, 2026
Arizona taxpayers built a Stadium for Bidwill & consistently sold out home games since 2006.
You can't get better support in my opinion from a fan base.
Thanks to Az fans Bidwill is wealthier than he has ever been
Az deserves better than 38 yrs of excuses pic.twitter.com/A8fsNZicXT
PPL saying this are judging it too literally. I think we all know selling the team isn’t going to happen, but getting the message of fan frustration and need for change is dire… IE hire a damn president already.

If this successful in changing the leadership structure it’s a W
I look at it two fold. If the owner doesn’t care about emabrassing his fanbase — might as well spend the same money on embarrassing him.
— EILERS (@EIL3RS) October 16, 2026
He can do what he wants but peers in the sport/business are going to look at him differently for sure. As they should.
If people have the extra money to spend, they can either give it Bidwill or they can give it to the Billboards. It’s their choice. Why would they want to give it to an owner who doesn’t care what they think?
— Cardinalwx (@Cardinalwx) October 16, 2026
A waste of money for who?
— Dude_In_The_Desert ❁ 🌵 (@t_arnpreeest) October 16, 2026
Paying $400 for a few tickets, parking and food to watch a team get blown out every week at home is a waste of money imo.
We get to decide how to waste our money. This seems much more productive.
Do you think the fan billboard campaign against Michael Bidwill is "a waste of money?"
