An executive with a Kansas group that owns Jimmy John's sandwich franchises bought a Scottsdale home for more than $5.5 million. It was one of the most expensive houses to sell in metro Phoenix during the third week of September.
Three of this week's priciest homes are in north Scottsdale, and two are in Paradise Valley. None of the houses were mansions, and only one of the homes was new. Features of the houses include an RV garage, indoor-outdoor bar, a loft, a basement, grotto waterfall and pickleball court.
A couple of the buyers and sellers of this week's featured homes used LLCs named after the addresses of the properties.
