The back-to-back Big 12 champions are returning to Tempe to kick off the 2026 season.
Arizona State volleyball will hold its home opener on Sept. 10 against UC Davis to start the Snyder-Park Classic. The team will hold a Big 12 ring ceremony at the game.
ASU has already experienced some of the top competition in the nation, upsetting No. 2 Texas in the season opener on Aug. 22 and sweeping No. 14 Minnesota on Aug. 28.
Wisconsin transfer Una Vajagic tallied 45 kills in the first three matches, including 20 against Minnesota. Freshman setter Elle Mottola was named Big 12 Freshman of the Week on Sept. 1, after posting her first double-double vs. Minnesota, notching 42 assists and 10 digs.
Mottola posted a stellar collegiate debut against Texas, leading
ASU to victory with 31 assists, seven digs and four blocks. She was named the match's AVCA MVP.
The Snyder-Park Classic is named after legendary head coach Patti Snyder-Park, which continues the recent tradition of ASU naming a home nonconference tournament after notable people in the program’s history. Snyder-Park was the head coach for the program from 1989 to 2002 and earned a record of 216-181.
The tournament will be held from Sept. 10-12 at Desert Financial Arena, and will bring in Oregon, San Diego and UC Davis. Following the home opener, ASU will face Oregon on Sept. 11, and San Diego on Sept. 12.
