Former Arizona Cardinals and NFL star Edgerrin James took to social media on Sept. 7 to share a concerning message about one of his children, Edgerrin Jr., who goes by "Jizzle."
“Jizzle is dealing with substance abuse and is NOT in the right state of mind right now,” James wrote on Instagram. “If you see him, show him LOVE-but DO NOT give him money, valuables, or anything material.
“You’re not helping him by feeding the problem. He wants/needs for NOTHING…
“Give him a hug. Give him encouragement. Give him love. THAT’S IT…
“Be patient with him. We’re fighting for him, not against him.”

Jizzle James averaged 10.9 points per game on the Cincinnati men's basketball
team last season.
Jizzle transferred to Charlotte in the offseason, following his former Cincinnati coach, Wes Miller, but was reportedly dismissed from the Charlotte program in recent weeks.
Edgerrin James played 11 seasons in the NFL, most notably with the Indianapolis Colts, but he also spent three seasons with the Cardinals.
He rushed for 12,256 yards and 80 touchdowns during his career.
