If you love the Christmas holiday season and love a good stroll through the Spirit Halloween, I've got great news for you: Spirit Christmas stores are coming soon.
Spirit Christmas, the sister to Spirit Halloween, opened its first seasonal locations in 2024. At the time, there were only eight stores open throughout the Northeast. Last year the company nearly quadrupled that number, opening 30 stores across 12 states, according to USA TODAY.
Spencer Spirit Holdings told USA TODAY that five more stores will open for the 2026 season on Saturday, Oct. 17, in New Jersey, Florida and Ohio with big celebrations and giveaways to the first 50 customers and then the remaining 39 stores that are scheduled to open will be transitioning the first week of November
from Spirit Halloween stores to Spirit Christmas.
"The holidays are so much more than what's under the tree. They're about the traditions families return to year after year and the magic of creating new ones," said Kym Sarkos, executive vice president of Spirit, in a news release. "Spirit Christmas was created to celebrate that feeling."
