Description: The future Tolleson Aquatic Center will be on the lot next to the Tolleson Police Department, facing 85th Avenue and across the street from a Domino's Pizza.
The Tolleson Aquatic Center will feature a variety of amenities, including water slides nearly 20 feet tall, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, and a lazy river. It will be the city's first public pool since 2018, said Randy Babchuk, parks, recreation, aquatics director for the city of Tolleson.
History: Tolleson purchased the land from a private resident in 2024 for $5 million. Tolleson is working with CHASSE Builders on construction of the facility.

When will the work be done? Construction is expected to be completed
between December 2026 and January 2027. The Aquatic Center will open to the public between March 2027 and April 2027, Babchuk said.
