When Salad and Go closed all of its stores last week, many Arizonans found themselves searching for a replacement offering affordable, healthy drive-through salads and breakfast burritos. While there are several great salad options in metro Phoenix, few are as affordable as Salad and Go was. The most obvious alternative is Angie's, an affordable, healthy fast-food concept that was launched by Salad and Go's founders Tony and Roushan Christofellis after they sold the previous chain in 2021.
The couple previously shared in an Instagram post that they planned to hire as many displaced Salad and Go employees as possible at Angie's, while also teasing a brand expansion in the Valley.
On Aug. 12, Angie's revealed in an Instagram post that it plans to
open at least nine new locations in the Phoenix metro area by the end of 2026, with the first three opening "in the next six weeks."

The nine new Angie's locations listed on the brand's Instagram page are:
- 19th and Glendale avenues, Phoenix.
- 19th Avenue and Baseline Road, Phoenix.
- Alma School and Guadalupa roads, Mesa.
- Ironwood Drive and Pima Road, Queen Creek.
- Crimson Road and Southern Avenue, Mesa.
- Seventh Avenue and Indian School Road, Phoenix.
- John Wayne Parkway and Smith Enke Road, Maricopa.
- Yuma Road and Cotton Lane, Goodyear.
- Florence Boulevard and Henness Road, Casa Grande.

Angie's mission is to provide high-quality foods such as USDA prime steak, Maine lobster, Mexican colossal shrimp, antibiotic-free chicken and organic fruits and vegetables, at fast food prices. Menu options include burritos, warm bowls, lobster rolls, burgers, salads and sandwiches.
