The suspect in an Aug. 1 shooting at an Idaho In-N-Out has Arizona ties, according to public records and social media.
Chad Williams, 24, is suspected of opening fire at the newly opened location of the burger chain in Twin Falls, killing three people and injuring several others before turning the weapon on himself. Two people had been treated and discharged, three were in stable condition and two were in critical condition, according to the Twin Falls Police Department.
Williams was a former student at the College of Southern Idaho, the university confirmed, but he had a previous address in Waddell, Arizona, according to public records.
An X account belonging to a Chad Williams included a profile description with a reference to "AZ boys state
2019." A post on the account also referenced Waddell as Williams' hometown.
Waddell is a small community west of Phoenix near Surprise.
