If you’re getting ready to vote in the 2026 midterm election, you have lots of options in Arizona.
You can vote by mail, vote early in person or cast a ballot at the polls on Election Day, which is Nov. 3.
Arizona voters have some huge choices to make this fall in races for governor, attorney general and secretary of state. Nine congressional seats are on the ballot. All 90 seats in the Arizona Legislature are up for a vote.
Plus, voters can weigh in on ballot questions that could make policy changes regarding drug cartels, voter ID and trans athletes, among other issues.
Here’s what to know about casting a ballot in the midterms.
When is the voter registration deadline?
You had to register to vote by Oct. 5 to cast a ballot in the November midterm election.

What should I know about mail-in voting?
Mail-in voting begins Oct. 7. The last day to request a mail-in ballot is Oct. 23.
Voters should mail their ballots back by Oct. 27 to ensure they arrive in time to be counted. If you miss the deadline, bring your ballot to an official drop box or a voting center by Election Day.
When is early voting?
Early voting begins Oct. 7 and runs through Oct. 30, which is the Friday before Election Day.
How do I know where to vote?
There are a few ways to find your closest voting center.
If you live in Maricopa County, find your polling place at locations.maricopa.vote.
Pima County residents can check at pima.gov.
If you live in another county, use My.Arizona.Vote to find your polling location.
What time is voting open?
On Election Day, all voting locations are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
If there is a long line at the end of the day, you can vote as long as you are in line by 7 p.m.
