Phoenix Suns conclude their five-game preseason schedule Oct. 16 against the Utah Jazz at Mortgage Matchup Center.
The 7 p.m. MST game is being televised on 3TV.
The Suns (1-3) will be without Luke Kennard (left knee tendon strain) and Oso Ighodaro (hip soreness).
Kennard injured his knee in the first half of Wednesday’s 123-103 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.
“It seems to be in a good spot,” Suns coach Jordan Ott said pregame. “Obviously, we're not going to press it here in the preseason. We have a couple days here before opening night.”
Ighodaro rested Wednesday. Ott said Ighodaro is on track to play in the Oct. 21 season opener on the road against the Portland Trail Blazers, but he wouldn’t fully commit to Kennard being available for the game.
“I’d hate to make a statement now,” Ott said. “We have so many days in between. Definitely Oso for sure. You saw Luke come out of the game the other night. We avoided anything serious. He’ll get back on the court this weekend.”
The Suns will start Devin Booker, Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, Miles Bridges and Khaman Maluach against the Jazz.
Making his third straight start, Maluach is in competition with Ighodaro for the starting center position.
Booker and Bridges are returning to action after missing the last two preseason games, while Green and Brooks are back after sitting in San Antonio.
