Detectives with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office were investigating the fatal shooting of a man found shot in Guadalupe on the morning of Sept. 11 after receiving a 911 call.
Investigators responded to the area of East Calle Iglesia and Avenida del Yaqui about 9:26 a.m., where they found a man who had been shot, according to Sheriff's Office spokesperson Sgt. Joaquin Enriquez.
Deputies administered first aid before the man was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Enriquez did not identify the man nor any suspects connected to his death.
