More than 800 foodies packed CityPlace on Oct. 16 for the inaugural Taste of West Palm Beach, a sold-out event that turned the downtown hotspot into a showcase of the city's growing restaurant scene.
Thirty restaurants participated, offering bites, cocktails and desserts from some of West Palm Beach's best-known names, newest arrivals and several making their debuts in the coming months.
Guests sampled everything from sushi and curry to pastries and gelato while roaming tasting stations spread throughout the property.
The event marked the first citywide expansion of what was previously known as Taste of CityPlace, bringing together restaurants from across West Palm Beach for one evening.
Restaurants and dessert shops participating included Moody
Tongue Sushi, Maman, Fuku, Moxies West Palm Beach, estiatorio Milos, Galley, Ela Curry & Cocktails, Mango Mercado, El Camino, Eataly, Felice, PopUp Bagels, Hive Bakery & Café, True Food Kitchen, Malka, Harry’s, Adrienne’s, BuddhaBerry, The Blue Door, Del Mar, Kitchen Restaurant, The Ben Hotel, Sloan’s and more.
One of the evening's biggest draws was a preview of Los Mochis, the London-based restaurant that recently announced plans to open its first U.S. location in West Palm Beach in 2027.
Beyond the food, attendees enjoyed live entertainment, chef demonstrations and interactive experiences. Eataly teamed up with Ferrari on a Formula 1-inspired activation, while other attractions included pasta-making demonstrations, chocolate tastings and custom perfume blending.
The event raised money for the Palm Beach County Food Bank. Organizers said ticket sales and matching donations contributed to a total of $300,000 in support for the nonprofit.
