Craving a sweet treat? The nation’s largest specialty cake company is giving away free cakes in Palm Beach County and around the nation.
Nothing Bundt Cakes is giving free confetti Bundtlets — mini bundt cakes — to the first 300 guests at its more than 840 bakeries around the nation on Tuesday, Sept. 15, for its "National Bring the Joy Day". That amounts to more than 250,000 free cakes.
There are six Nothing Bundt Cakes locations in Palm Beach County. The bakeries are in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Royal Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens.
The giveaway is a part of the company’s “10 Million Bites of Joy” movement, which involves 6 weeks of sampling, fundraising,
community events and more from Aug. 24 to Oct. 4, according to a press release.
"Nothing Bundt Cakes was built on the belief that cake has the power to bring joy," wrote Dolf Berle, CEO of Nothing Bundt Cakes, in a prepared statement. "It's what our bakeries have done every day since 1997. Through 10 Million Bites of Joy, we're celebrating it on a bigger scale than ever — and giving joy a day of its own.”
Two limited-time flavors have recently arrived to Nothing Bundt Cakes: a fan-favorite Biscoff Cookie Butter Cake and a new Apple Pie Cake Pop-Up flavor, the press release said.
