The top 10 spots on the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup points standings were unchanged after the Rocket Classic and with the leading contenders taking a week off, Scottie Schefflerwill hold the No. 1 spot entering the playoffs.
But the intrigue isn't at the top: It's near the bottom of the top 100 players this week at the Wyndham Championship, beginning on Aug. 6 at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.

The top-70 players on the points list will advance to the first leg of the FedEx Cup Playoffs Aug. 13-16 at the FedEx St. Jude Classic, at TPC Southwind in Memphis.
Jackson Koivun remains on the No. 70 bubble on the points list after tying for 31st at the Rocket Classic. Michael Thorbjornssen made one of the biggest moves with his first Tour victory.

The contenders aren't taking any chances. No. 61 Nick Taylor through No. 101 Lee Hodges are playing at the Wyndham Championship. Mathematically, No. 181 Webb Simpson (61 points) can get into the playoff with a victory.
