The Miami Dolphins (0-5) are back from their bye week and apparently as healthy as they have been since the season started (although RB De'Von Achane is out for 2026 with a knee injury).
They will be in East Rutherford, N.J., to take on the New York Jets (2-4), whose rebuild from the depths of the NFL is farther along than their counterparts from South Florida. Speaking of which, this is the Dolphins' first AFC East matchup of the season. The Buffalo Bills lead the division at 5-1 with the New England Patriots second at 4-3 after a Thursday night loss to the Chicago Bears.
It will be interesting to see if coach Jeff Hafley and his staff made any changes during the off week other than working on the team's poor play on special teams. That included
cutting PK Riley Patterson and bringing back Zane Gonzalez, who was with the team in training camp before being injured.
