Did Donald Trump Jr. buy a waterfront lot in West Palm Beach?
The Palm Beach Post has learned that the eldest son of President Donald Trump is likely behind the trust that owns an empty residential lot in the Prospect Park neighborhood just south of downtown West Palm, according to two real estate sources familiar with the property.
The vacant Washington Road property sold for $15 million in February to an entity called 3110 Washington Road Trust, Palm Beach County property records show.
The 0.74-acre property with 80 feet of waterfront along the Intracoastal Waterway is at that address, north of Greenwood Drive and next to George Petty Park. The lot lies about a mile northwest of the Mar-a-Lago Club, President Donald Trump's mansion in Palm Beach.
The New York Post reported on June 17 that the younger Trump, now a Jupiter resident, plans to build a large home in Prospect Park to accommodate his five children, as well as any children he may have with Bettina Trump.
