LeBron James is headed to ... Philadelphia.
James announced his intent to join the 76ers in what he's calling his final NBA team. He will reportedly sign a two-year, $8 million contract, ending the hopes of Miami Heat fans enjoying a reunion back in the black and red.
Though the Heat didn't land James, they will still head into the season with a solid lineup as they hope to claim the crown of the Eastern champs and then an NBA title to round of the season.
Miami Heat NBA championship odds
Of course, the Miami Heat have not sat idly by during this offseason. They made one of the biggest trades in franchise history by acquiring two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo to team up with Bam Adebayo.
