The Rotary Club of Palm Beach's Red Velvet Jazz Series continues to draw larger crowds each month since its launch in June.
The most recent event, held on the rooftop of Hotel AKA West Palm, at 695 S Olive Ave., featured a performance by South Florida vocalist Bianca Rosarrio and luxury guitarist Clara McLain, according to a recent announcement.
“The response since the start of the Red Velvet Jazz Series in June has been unbelievable,” Paul Tripaldi, president of the Rotary Club of Palm Beach, said. “We sell out seats each month, even with the additional seats and tables, and we are continuing to add capacity … we are looking forward to continuing that momentum.”
The series also supports the Palm Beach Rotary Foundation, with plans to direct the funds
toward youth initiatives, including programs with Rotaract.
The club credits its partnership with Hotel AKA West Palm and its sponsors — Two Touch POS, Unbridled Air, Suden PR, Massucci Photography and Insurance Specialties — for making the series possible.
Next event scheduled for Oct. 27
The next installment of the Red Velvet Jazz Series is scheduled for Oct. 27, with Joe Freer set to headline. The series will continue monthly through the end of the year.
