This December, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum will introduce Luminary Nights, a new holiday event for families in the northern Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast. The waterfront celebration will take place Dec. 11, 12, 18 and 19, 2026, from 6–9 p.m., according to a recent announcement.
The Lighthouse grounds will be decorated with festive lights and displays. Visitors can explore glowing pathways, an interactive light installation at the historic banyan tree, and a tunnel of lights leading to the Lighthouse. Timed evening Lighthouse climbs will offer a lantern-light-themed experience after dark.
The event is designed for all ages and will feature live performances, holiday crafts, a letter-to-Santa station, seasonal food and refreshments,
a hot chocolate station, and other festive activities.
Artisan Village and photo opportunities
Guests can visit the Artisan Village, which will showcase 10 local artisans and vendors. Visitors can meet the makers and shop for handcrafted gifts. A holiday photo opportunity will be available, allowing families to capture a seasonal memory with the Lighthouse as the backdrop. A professional photographer will be on site, and keepsake prints will be available.
Event details
Luminary Nights aims to combine the wonder of holiday lights with the history of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. The event is planned as a gathering that families can look forward to each year and a new seasonal destination for the community, according to the announcement.
Event and ticket information will be available at jupiterlighthouse.org. All events and programs are conducted under permit from the Bureau of Land Management.
