Former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill denied physically abusing his estranged wife Lakeeta Vaccaro Hill, countering the allegations she made during her testimony in an ongoing civil trial.
Hill took the witness stand on Thursday, Oct. 8, and denied that any argument between the two had ever become physical. He also said that allegations of physical abuse did not come up during their joint counseling sessions and that the two had never discussed them.
"I learned from my grand-dad," Hill said in his testimony during a civil assault and battery trial in Florida.
"If my grand-dad and my grandmother get in an argument, what's he gonna do? He's gonna walk out. And that's the method that I went with every time. I walked out every single time. Or I'd go sleep on the couch, or I'd go sit in my car, or I'd go watch me some YouTube videos."
In her testimony on Oct. 6, Vaccaro Hill alleged that Hill had attempted to punch at her stomach while she was pregnant with his child in July 2024. Vaccaro Hill said that she blocked Hill's hands with her own. Vaccaro Hill also alleged that he pulled her hair as part of the incident.
"Unfortunately with all the false allegations I think it's time for me to kind of come tell my story," Hill said in his testimony. "I think that's kind of important and share my side of the story because there's always two sides of the story."
Hill's testimony is ongoing. This story will be updated.
