Get an early start with a Block Party at CityPlace on Thursday
Enjoy live music, family activities and good food as CityPlace hosts a community block party. The party happens at the north end of CityPlace and while the event is free to the public, the business participants will be donating a percentage of the proceeds to the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts. "Fuku is planning a special collaboration, The Salty Donut and BuddhaBerry will offer sweet treats, SunLife Organics will have tastings, Pura Vida will serve smoothie shots and Moxies will have a specialty cocktail bar cart. In addition, local favorites including Arya Tea Bar, VIP Paws and Trindy Gourmet will have activities along the block." Also expect offerings from Antropologie, Evereve, Birkenstock and the county's Historical Society.

1. Nora District Takeover "Wellness Gone Wild," West Palm Beach
The Nora District, in collaboration with Coffee Club Collective and Era Club, the South Florida social club redefining nightlife without alcohol, will once again mix wellness and nightlife with an evening of movement, music, fitness and fun via Sweat440 and Jetset Pilates. There will be Pilates, yoga flows, cold plunges, a live DJ and more. Sweat, stretch and chill!

2. Fred Astaire Dance Studio "Hustle," Delray Beach
This event opens with a beginner-friendly Hustle group class. This fun, energetic partner dance was born in the disco era and features easy-to-learn steps, turns and spins set to upbeat music. It will be followed by a lively social dance party where participants can show off their new moves.

3. Annual Outrun Hunger 5K, West Palm Beach
Hosted by Feeding South Florida and held at Okeeheelee Park in celebration of Hunger Action Month, this event raises funds and awareness to end hunger in South Florida. In addition to the race, there will be a Kids Zone, local vendors, family-friendly activities, and more. The event will be emceed by Noura Salman, Survivor season 39 finalist and Kirk Gimenez, senior vice president at Brickell Capital Finance.

4. National Dance Day, West Palm Beach
Get moving at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and enjoy a full lineup of free workshops and classes including hip hop, jazz funk, ballroom a la “Dirty Dancing” and more. The event will once again be emceed by CBS 12 anchor Sam Kerrigan.

5. Ultracon Comic Con, West Palm Beach
Palm Beach County's largest comic con is coming to the Expo Center at the South Florida Fairgrounds and will feature hundreds exhibitors, the Battlestar Galactica experience and a chance to meet "90210" alums Tori Spelling and Brian Austin Green, "Sons of Anarchy" actors Emilio Riviera, David Labrava and Theo Ross.
