MIAMI GARDENS — The Miami Dolphins welcomed a major player to practice the morning of Tuesday, Aug. 25.
Receiver Chris Bell, a third-round pick from Louisville, took another step in his recovery from last season's knee injury as coaches gave him a bigger workload. The goal is for Bell to make his preseason debut in Friday's home game vs. Atlanta, the preseason finale.
Bell was seen during warmups in full uniform before last week's game vs. the New York Giants, but Bell did not play, which would have been a surprise.
Bell's first notable play was a reception from Malik Willis along the sideline after Willis' offensive line picked up a blitz to give him time.
Bell later caught a 15-yard pass from Quinn Ewers.
