Police identified the body of a woman found floating in the ocean as 63-year-old Patricia Brennan of Fort Lauderdale.
A boater found Brennan's body shortly after 8 a.m. on Aug. 4 about two miles east of Ocean Strand Park in Boca Raton
. Divers with Boca Raton Police recovered her body with the help of Boca Raton Fire Rescue, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the U.S. Coast Guard.Police spokesperson Dylan Huberman did not immediately say in what condition her body was found, how long she appeared to have been in the water, her suspected cause of death, nor whether her death is being investigated as a homicide. He asked that anyone with information contact detectives at 561-620-6246.
Brennan would have turned 64 in September.
