Yes. I agree with
Bryan Desloge about the consequences of approving Amendment 3. It is sugar for hungry people. In my view however, the problem is that local government has had a huge influx of money, vis-à-vis property value increases, and they have only spent more. There has been no restraint and property owners are upset. If there are millions more because of property value increases, why do taxes keep going up? I am against the amendment, but I understand why it's happening. Our politicians are not doing us any favors.

Why vote Republican in November?
America is in crisis. We are still at war with Iran, which threatens to expand as Iran’s surrogates attack U.S. allies in the Middle East. Gas prices exceed $4 per gallon, food prices are soaring, rural hospitals are closing and college costs are exploding. Vice President JD Vance recently asked Americans to give them ― Republicans ― two more years.
Is he kidding? America’s debt is exploding. We have no allies. AI is growing super fast, and the Epstein files haven’t been released. The midterm elections are approaching, and this is a critical time in our history because our democracy Is threatened. We know what to expect because President Trump told us. He will do anything to have Republicans retain a majority in both houses. Expect intimidation tactics. Expect to be frightened. But remember, voting is your right so, vote for Democrats and help put America back as the leader of the free world.

The Kennedy Center deserves better
Considering what he did to the reflecting pool and the East Wing of the White House, maybe we are better off if Donald Trump does not do the renovations on the Kennedy Center.

Lingering Trump support baffling
It baffles me that anyone in the U.S. could possibly still support Trump as president. Since affordability has remained the priority issue in our country, Trump has absolutely failed. First it was the tariffs; Trump has always fixated on them. In addition, he angered all of our allies that we trade with. Such an idiotic policy, but not surprising.
Next, and even worse perhaps, Trump decided to start an illegal and disastrous war against Iran with no forethought as to strategy or an exit ramp. In addition, last October when Trump and [Defense Secretary Pete] Hegseth bombed Iran, they both boasted that Iran’s nuclear capabilities had been "obliterated." The simple truth was this: Israel finally found a U.S. president stupid enough to start a war against Iran. Now the U.S. must suffer the consequences of exorbitant gas prices of more than $4.30 per gallon and spiking inflation, all because of Trump’s disastrous decision. Thank goodness the upcoming midterms will result in Democrats winning back control of the House and the Senate and hopefully restoring some sort of restraint on Trump’s unhinged policies and behavior. Enough is enough.
