Bring on the white walkers, the Night King, Frosty the Snowman and whoever else, as long as it means some cooler weather. While winter might be a few months away, fall officially began on Sept. 23 and, hopefully, will mean lower temperatures and humidity. Get out this weekend and see "The Moonwalkers: A Journey with Tom Hanks," take part in Paddles for a Purpose, check out The 31st Annual Downtown Delray Beach Craft Festival and more.

In addition to the top five events listed there's always something great happening at places like The Norton Museum of Art or the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. On top of that you

1. "The Moonwalkers: A Journey with Tom Hanks," Boynton Beach

This 50-minute immersive experience at The Cornelia T. Bailey Cultural Arts Center combines breathtaking 360-degree projections, rare and remastered NASA footage, powerful storytelling that transports visitors from the pioneering Apollo missions to the next era of lunar exploration. Adding oomph to it all, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performs the score and Tom Hanks narrates.

2. Paddles for a Purpose, Boynton Beach

This charity pickleball tournament partners South Florida's newest Major League Pickleball team the Palm Beach Royals with the Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County to benefit the organization. The event at Replay in Boynton Beach will feature singles, doubles and league play, co-chairs Brody and Gracie Harbinson, food, drinks, raffles and more.

The event is 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25. 6600 High Ridge Road, Boynton Beach. Spectators $25 (includes food and two adult beverage tickets), individual players $75, doubles $137. Information: ctrfam.org/paddles

3. Downtown Delray Beach Craft Festival on 4th

The 31st Annual Downtown Delray Beach Craft Festival on Fourth will be held Saturday, Sept. 26 and Sunday, Sept. in Delray Beach.

This fall-favorite event held on Fourth and Atlantic Avenues kicks off the craft festival season and will feature more than 100 artisans from around the state. The free, two-day festival in its 31st year includes thousands of whimsical, practical and affordable items along with a full green market.

The event is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 and Sunday, Sept. 27. 401 E. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach. Free. Information: artfestival.com

4. Art After Dark, Norton Museum of Art

The perfect mix of art and entertainment and a great way to relax after a tough week, this week's edition of Art After Dark will feature a docent-led tour, an art workshop and a performance by the Jon Lehrer Dance Company.

The event is 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25. 1450 S. Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach. Adults and seniors $10, students $5. Information: norton.org

5. H.O.W. Strong 5K Run/Walk, West Palm Beach

The Hearing the Ovarian Cancer Whisper event will be held at Dreher Park and bring together ovarian cancer survivors, friends, family, and local businesses to raise awareness and provide support to women battling the disease, which affects 240,000 each year. Proceeds will benefit H.O.W.’s Glenda M. Wright Angel Fund, which provides financial assistance to women undergoing treatment for ovarian cancer who are experiencing financial hardship.
