the talk of the Kansas City Chiefs reclaiming their dynasty?
The last time these two met, temperatures were below zero and fans were taken to the emergency room as the Chiefs froze out the Dolphins in the 2023 playoffs en route to their second straight Super Bowl title. Miami has hit a hard reset after two flailing years since then, off to an 0-2 start with the second-worst scoring offense and fifth-worst scoring defense through two weeks. New quarterback Malik Willis will be without one of his top rookie receivers today with Caleb Douglas nursing an ankle injury.
On the other end, KC has been revitalized by a healthy Patrick Mahomes and reigning Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker, who led the NFL in rushing before Bijan Robinson went ballistic on Thursday night. They're 2-0 after scraping by the Indianapolis Colts in overtime last Monday thanks to Mahomes throwing a classic 385 yards with three touchdowns and Walker mowing down tired defenders.

The Dolphins' home opener might see more fans cheering for the Chiefs, or at least for hopes of catching Travis Kelce's wife somewhere in the stands. Sorry, South Florida: Taylor Swift is not likely to make an appearance today.
