Planning your spring break already? Ultra-low-cost Allegiant Air is beefing up its Florida presence again with nine new nonstop routes starting next February, according to an Aug. 17 release.
The carrier described seven of the routes coming to five Florida airports as "hyper-seasonal," meaning they'll only operate for about two months during a brief period of heavy demand. They're aimed directly at peak spring break and other vacation times and will connect Florida to three New England states: Boston, Massachusetts; Providence, Rhode Island; and Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
The two ongoing routes will connect Orlando International Airport and Cincinnati, Ohio, and Orlando Sanford International Airport and Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Base fares start
as low as $49 one-way for the Orlando-Cincinnati flight and $68.50 from Orlando Sanford International Airport to Grand Forks, North Dakota, as of Aug. 17. The Massachusetts and Rhode Island flights start considerably higher.

"We're excited to announce these new routes into our growing network and will continue to look for opportunities to connect travelers with the destinations they want to visit most," said Drew Wells, Allegiant's chief commercial officer.
Allegiant is also adding nearly 30 new and returning seasonal flights to Florida airports in the second half of 2026.
The Las Vegas-based carrier is known for connecting small to mid-size cities to popular leisure destinations.
