From there, head toward the waterfront to take in the views and enjoy a walk along the Intracoastal Waterway.
Another stop to make is CityPlace,for an afternoon of shopping and enjoying a mix of Venetian and Mediterranean architecture. The open-air entertainment district is a great place to wander, browse stores, and take in the modern design. With so much to see within walking distance, West Palm Beach makes it easy to fill a day without needing a car.

CityPlace hosts block party with live music, family activities and food
CityPlace hosted a community block party on Thursday, Sept. 17, with live music, family activities and food.
The party, a Related Ross and CityPlace production, happened at the north end of the downtown West Palm Beach shopping district along Rosemary Avenue.
The event was free to the public, but those business that participated will donate a percentage of the proceeds to the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts.
