The stars of "Love Island USA" Season 8 reunited this month to film the reunion, bringing together 30 islanders to rehash drama and share updates on their lives post-villa. And among the islanders who attended are five from Florida.
According to Deadline, Peacock’s “Love Island USA” reunion was held at Universal Studios Hollywood on Aug. 9 in Los Angeles. However, fans will be waiting a few more days to actually see what went down during the special.

When does the 'Love Island USA' Season 8 reunion drop?
The "Love Island USA" Season 8 reunion will air exclusively on Peacock in five days. The reunion will drop on Peacock at 9 p.m. ET next Monday, Aug. 31, 2026.
The reunion will be co-hosted by TV personality Ariana Madix (who is from Melbourne, Florida) and Bravo royalty Andy Cohen. This will be the third time they've co-hosted the reunion together.

Are Trinity and Bryce still together?
Trinity Tatum and Bryce Dettloff, both original islanders who coupled up on the first day in the villa, were announced as the "Love Island USA" Season 8 winners on Sunday, July 12.
As of Aug. 26, Trinity and Bryce are reportedly still together outside of the villa. Both have posted photos and videos of each other on their Instagram and TikTok profiles since leaving the villa in July.
Is 'Love Island USA' coming back for Season 9? Renewal status
While there's been no official renewal announcement from Peacock, the network has actively started casting for the reality series' ninth season.
"Love Island USA is officially casting for Season 9 in summer 2027, with applications now open for singles age 18 and older who want to head to the Villa in Fiji," Peacock wrote.
According to its website, applicants must complete a detailed questionnaire about their personality, dating history, relationship goals, hobbies and partner preferences, and submit recent photos and videos. Selected candidates advance through interviews and background screenings before final casting.
Will there be a 'Beyond the Villa' season with Love Island Season 8 cast members?
Yes. "Beyond the Villa," the spinoff showing the life of cast members after the show, was renewed for a third season featuring the latest cast members, Peacock confirmed.
As of Aug. 10, it is unknown who will appear in the new season.
