Demonstrators are again fanning out across the county under the banner of "No Kings" to protest the policies of President Donald Trump.
The rallies, part of the nationwide No Kings movement, begin as early as 10 a.m. and continue throughout the afternoon in Palm Beach Gardens, West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Boca Raton and Wellington. Unlike prior iterations, organizers say Saturday's events are aimed at encouraging early voting, which runs locally from Oct. 19 through Nov. 1.
"We are headed into an important point in a democracy, which is whether the people stand up and refuse to allow an authoritarian to consolidate power," said Erza Levin, cofounder of the grass-roots group behind No Kings, Indivisible.
"The way to do that in a democracy is
by exercising your right to vote and by exercising your right to organize to prevent any sabotage in that election," he said.
Saturday's demonstrations mark the fourth round of No Kings protests, which drew 8 million participants nationally at its last event. House Speaker Mike Johnson has referred to the protests as the "Hate America Rally," and Republicans have broadly labeled them "anti-American."

What is a 'No Kings' protest?
09:28 AM ET, October 17 2026, Tom EliaNo Kings is a coalition of activists and organizing groups whose members include the American Federation of Teachers, the Black Voters Matter Fund, Voto Latino, Indivisible, MoveOn and Public Citizen.
The name No Kings comes from the organizers' belief that President Donald Trump is acting like a monarch rather than the leader of a democracy.
The last No Kings demonstrations, held in March, included events in communities in all 50 states and every congressional district, including rural and Republican areas.
