After Delray Beach Restaurant Month ended in September, 15 downtown restaurants decided to keep the deals going.

The Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority announced that participating restaurants are extending select prix-fixe menus, happy hour specials and other offers through Oct. 31.

Now in its 11th year, the promotion highlights the city's dining scene and encourages residents and visitors to explore local food businesses.

Located on Atlantic Avenue in downtown Delray Beach, the new Amar Sandwich Shop features Middle Eastern fare in a grab-and-go format.
