Slow down and take a closer look at the everyday in "Gathering: The Mixed Media Work of Kristin Miller" at Resource Depot. Inspired by nature, place and memory, Miller layers watercolor, embroidery, fabric, paper and found materials into delicate works that explore the shapes, textures, landscapes and moments we collect throughout daily life.

Step inside Palm Beach's Gilded Age
Take advantage of the final weekend before Henry Morrison Flagler Museum closes temporarily for preservation beginning Sept. 29. Built in 1902 as Henry Flagler's winter estate, Whitehall offers a glimpse into Gilded Age life through its elaborate rooms, furnishings, art, and architecture. Visitors can also explore the Flagler Kenan Pavilion and climb aboard Flagler's private Railcar No. 91.

Celebrate the women who defined the sound of the '60s
Turn back the clock with "BEEHIVE: The 60s Musical" at Delray Beach Playhouse. Told through the perspectives of six young women coming of age during a decade of change, the high-energy musical revue features 40 songs made famous by artists including Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Janis Joplin and other legendary voices of the era.
