The Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce moved its breakfast series to Trump's Mar-a-Lago due to construction at its previous venue, The Breakers Hotel. The first event at Trump's private club on Oct. 20 drew a record-breaking sellout crowd of about 650 people.
The breakfast sold out within 15 minutes of registration opening in September, chamber CEO Doug Evans said, and had a waiting list of 100 ahead of the event.
“This is a new chapter for our 97-year-old Chamber of Commerce as we move for the next few years to Mar-a-Lago,” Evans told the Palm Beach Daily News about the monthly breakfast series.
