Journey into the wild with a National Geographic photographer

See wild Florida through the lens of conservation photographer and National Geographic Explorer Carlton Ward Jr. during "Path of the Panther" at Florida Atlantic University. Ward will share photography and stories from his years documenting the endangered Florida panther and the landscapes it depends on, offering a striking look at efforts to protect the Florida Wildlife Corridor.

Celebrate three extraordinary Latin American women

Mark Hispanic Heritage Month with "Tres Vidas," a music-theatre performance from Core Ensemble. Combining cello, piano, percussion and theatre, the program explores the lives of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, Salvadoran peasant-activist Rufina Amaya and Argentine poet Alfonsina Storni through scenes accompanied by popular, folkloric and classical Latin American music.

Stretch out at Busch Wildlife Sanctuary

Start your Saturday surrounded by the sounds of nature during Yoga in the Wild at Busch Wildlife Sanctuary. This hourlong morning class offers a chance to stretch, recharge, and enjoy the sanctuary from a different perspective. Bring your own mat and water bottle, and come ready to move among the sights and sounds of native Florida wildlife.
