What is the story about?

The Miami Dolphins are about to find out what life without De'Von Achane is all about.

As they prepare to take on the Minnesota Vikings on Oct. 4, they will be using running backs Jaylen Wright and Ollie Gordon II to try to replace their most valuable player from 2025. Achane was lost for the season after suffering a torn ACL early in last Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Expect quarterback Malik Willis to continue running — he was the team's leading rusher vs. the Chiefs — and don't be surprised to see receiver Malik Washington take a few handoffs or pitches from the backfield.
