JFK Hospital names assistant chief nursing officer
HCA Florida JFK Hospital recently named Sarah Siebert, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, assistant chief nursing officer. In her new role, Siebert will join assistant chief nursing officer Lisisbell Melendrez in supporting the hospital’s nursing teams and advancing its continued commitment to clinical quality, patient safety and nursing excellence.
Siebert brings more than 16 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience across acute care and procedural services. Celebrating 60 years of service to Palm Beach County, JFK Hospital is a 516-bed acute care hospital serving Atlantis and the surrounding communities.
Engel & Völkers Palm Beach name broker of record
Following his recent acquisition of Engel & Völkers Palm Beach, seasoned real estate leader Donald Brennan has bolstered the brokerage's South Florida platform with the appointment of Robert Anderson as broker of record. A real estate entrepreneur, Anderson previously co-founded and served as managing broker of Tortoise Realty Group, an affiliate of Tortoise Properties. He later founded Anderson Urban Real Estate, a boutique advisory and brokerage firm based in West Palm Beach. He has decades of experience spanning real estate, business development, investment advisory, and strategic partnerships.
Jupiter Inlet Colony leaders Shula, Siegel recognized for service
Jupiter Inlet Colony vice mayor Dave Shula and town manager Heidi Siegel have received "Home Rule Hero" recognition from the Florida League of Cities for legislative advocacy during the 2026 Session. Shula has lived with his family in Jupiter Inlet Colony since 2018 and has had a long career in professional sports, including as a former head coach in the National Football League. He later joined his family’s restaurant business and has helped it expand globally. Siegel started her current post in 2024, shortly after a town charter referendum was passed by residents to create a manager-commission form of government. She has more than 25 years of local government and private sector experience. Jupiter Inlet Colony was incorporated as a municipality in 1959.
Longtime PBSC supporters land local recognition
Nonprofits First recently announced that philanthropists Julie and John Kime will receive the 2026 Legacy of Giving Award at the 10th Annual Hats Off Nonprofit Awards, taking place on Thursday, Oct. 15 at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts Cohen Pavilion. The Hats Off Nonprofit Awards celebrate the nonprofit organizations, volunteers, philanthropists, and community leaders who make Palm Beach County a better place to live, work, and thrive. Julie and John Kime are widely recognized throughout Palm Beach County for their unwavering commitment to expanding opportunities and improving lives. The Kimes have been longtime supporters of Palm Beach State College, where their contributions have supported scholarships, academic programs, student resources, and campus initiatives.
Discover The Palm Beaches announces leadership appointments
Discover The Palm Beaches, Palm Beach County's destination marketing organization, recently announced a series of leadership appointments that will strengthen the organization's marketing efforts, deepen government and community engagement, and support continued operational excellence. DTPB announced the promotion of Evan Lomrantz to chief financial enterprise officer from chief financial officer. Sergio Piedra has been promoted to associate vice president of intergovernmental affairs. He was previously serving as senior director of intergovernmental affairs. Seth Weaver has been named digital marketing director and brings more than 10 years of experience in brand strategy and audience development to the organization in a newly-created position. Weaver joins DTPB from Arts Garage in Delray Beach. Discover The Palm Beaches is the destination marketing organization for the collection of 39 cities and towns known as The Palm Beaches in Southeast Florida, stretching from Boca Raton to Jupiter.
Endodontic Associates adds associate endodontist to team
Endodontic Associates of the Palm Beaches, PA. recently announced that Dr. Saqib Ihsan, D.M.D. has joined their team as a new associate endodontist. Endodontic Associates of the Palm Beaches is based in West Palm Beach.
Boca Helping Hands names corporate challenge winners
Local businesses competed for the title of 2026 Corporate Challenge Champion during Boca Helping Hands Third Annual Corporate Challenge. Fourteen local companies hosted a workplace food drive to help stock pantry shelves with much-needed non-perishable food. The companies that collected the most food by weight earned within their category took home the boxing-style champion’s belt. Participating companies competed in one of three categories based on employee count. A total of 22,195 pounds of food were donated by 14 companies. The Bantamweight Champion (50 employees or fewer) was SouthState Bank, coming in with 966 pounds of food; the Middleweight Champion (51-100 employees) was Woolbright Development is coming in with 1,073 pounds of food and the Heavyweight Champion (more than 101 employees) was ADMA Biologics coming in with 16,418 pounds of food. What began as a modest soup kitchen in 1998 has evolved into a trusted resource for over 40,000 individuals annually, making Boca Helping Hands one of the largest nonprofit service providers in South Florida.
