West Palm Beach is a city on the move. We are an example of what happens when thoughtful planning, a collaborative spirit, and a bold vision intersect with a once-in-a-generation period of investment and opportunity.
The good news is, West Palm Beach is one of America’s most exciting places to call home. The challenge is to make sure the people who have helped build this community can continue to afford to call it home.
Our city's success has brought new opportunities, but it has also brought new challenges — from rising housing costs and increased traffic to growing demands on our infrastructure and neighborhood services. Our next mayor must be prepared to meet those challenges head-on, ensuring that West Palm Beach continues to adapt without
losing the character, affordability, and quality of life that make it special. The goal shouldn't be to stop our progress. It should be to make sure our progress works for the people who live here.
For the last eight years, I have had the honor and privilege of serving as your city commissioner and being part of the team that has helped lead our city forward. Our next mayor needs to be someone who understands our city ‘s history: where we have been, and where we need to go next.
My leadership style is grounded in the idea that on any given day, we can always do better. You solve problems with collaboration, information sharing, and transparent decision making. You bring people together, even those you disagree with, if they have the right experience for the job. Our next mayor needs to be willing to work with anyone to find solutions.
One of my opponents, [Palm Beach County Commissioner] Gregg Weiss, has taken a different approach in his campaign. He has criticized our city and the progress we have made. When he is critical of our city’s success, he ignores the hard work of all the residents, business owners and stakeholders who have been part of that success. We need leaders focused on solutions, not negativity.
Through transparent decision making we can focus on solutions; ensure residents have a seat at the table and deliver tangible results. As a candidate for mayor, I have launched a policy committee made up of local West Palm Beach residents. The committee is reviewing different issues in the city, what changes should be made, what policies are working well, and making recommendations for the future. The committee is focused on gathering input from residents.

We will be hosting public input meetings over the next month for anyone in the city to participate in and share their ideas. The meetings will be held on Oct. 10, Oct. 14, Oct. 19 and Oct. 24. You can find the schedule online at ChristinaforMayor.com/Policy
As a candidate for mayor, former city commissioner, and community advocate, every voice in our city is important to me. I know we will not always agree on every issue, but you can trust that you will be heard and respected. West Palm Beach has its fair share of issues; we are far from perfect. The only way we get things done is by working together; collaboratively with our residents, neighborhoods and community partners.
I’m running for mayor because I believe in West Palm Beach, and I believe in the people who call West Palm Beach home. Thank you,
