Billionaire Larry Ellison of software giant Oracle is asking $165 million for one of his Palm Beach County real estate holdings, an oceanfront property in Seminole Landing.
The move comes as Ellison is expected to expand
his other estate of more than 22 acres — the largest in Manalapan — with a $35 million purchase of the southern portion of the lot in a deal said to close in a few weeks, the Wall Street Journal reported in June citing people familiar with the in-the-works sale. The Seminole Landing residence at 12210 Banyan Road near North Palm Beach comprises 6.5 developable acres, with another 2 acres of protected dune area and 563 feet of beachfront.
An Ellison-related company bought the north county property in April 2021 for $80 million.
There was a previous attempt at selling the house back in 2022 before it was taken off the market.
The house is now listed again by Paul Kaneb of K2 Realty.
According to the realtors.com listing, the home features seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms and was built back in 1991.

The over 16,000 square-foot residence also includes a four-car garage, an expansive pool terrace, a wine room, well-equipped kitchen, tennis court and a VIP guest suite.
In 2022, an Ellison-controlled company paid internet entrepreneur and former Palm Beach resident Jim Clark a recorded $173 million for the ocean-to-lake estate he shared with wife Kristy in the wealthy town of Manalapan south of Palm Beach.
The bulk of that estate measures 15.65 acres, but add in a slice of nearby Bird Island in the Intracoastal Waterway and Ellison’s land totals 22.44 acres, according to property records.
Ellison has a net worth of $109.8 billion, according to Forbes.com. In April, Forbes ranked him as the eighth richest person in the world on its annual list of billionaires.
Ellison co-founded Oracle and serves as its chairman, chief technology officer and former CEO. The company, headquartered in Austin, Texas, is billed as the world’s largest database-management company.
