The Miami Hurricanes not only remain among the land of the undefeated, and for that, they also remain in the top spot in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll.
The Hurricanes had little trouble with Pitt on Saturday, coasting by with a 52-23 victory at Hard Rock Stadium to improve to 7-0 (5-0 ACC)
. And so, with that win, and No. 2 BYU's loss at UCF and the other three teams in the top five idle, it was a no-brainer for Miami to stay No. 1, earning 67 of the 74 first-place votes.Ohio State remains the No. 2 team in this week's poll. Georgia, which lost last week to unranked Auburn but did not play this week, moved up one spot to No. 3. Indiana, which survived a scare at Michigan, jumped up two spots to fourth, followed by No. 5 Utah, who moved up five
spots after beating Houston.
Miami will next visit North Carolina on Oct. 31 at 7:30 p.m.
