A driver struck and killed a pedestrian in Palm Springs on Sept. 3, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
Palm Springs police said the driver of a gray Volkswagen Jetta was driving on South Military Trail, near Lake Worth Road, at 7:11 a.m. when they collided with a pedestrian crossing the street. Officers did not immediately name either the driver or the pedestrian killed.
Paramedics pronounced the person dead at the scene and took the driver to a hospital with minor injuries.
Police asked that anyone with information about the crash call Officer Blake Fardella at 561-584-8300, extension 8598.
