A gunman shot and killed a man early Thursday morning, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies found the man's body at 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Southern Boulevard and D Road in Loxahatchee. They shared few details in the aftermath of the shooting, withholding the man's name and age, where and how many times he was shot, and whether the shooting appeared to have happened at the intersection or elsewhere.

In a bid for tips, investigators asked that anyone with information contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS. They said they have not yet identified a suspect or a motive.
