Each week, The Post will highlight the best boys and girls high school student-athlete performances in Palm Beach County. The polls will be open until noon Friday.
Nominees are accepted via email or phone, but will be selected by staff in the absence of submission.
Here's a look at the best boys performances from the the most recent week of high school competition:
Palm Beach Post Boys Athlete of the Week (Sept. 14 - 18)
Football: Jack Miller, Sr., King's Academy — Receiver accounted for 85 yards on four catches, including three touchdowns, among them the game-tying catch in overtime, during a victory
against American Heritage-Delray
Football: Billy Clancy III, West Boca Raton — Caught for passes for 137 yards and a touchdown in a 15-14 loss against nationally-ranked St. John's (Washington D.C.)
Football: Jack Whelchel, Sr., St. Andrew's — Caught seven passes for 110 yards and a score during a 34-14 victory over North Broward Prep
Cross country: Casey Sangely, Sr., Spanish River — Ran a 15:46.41 to pace the field, taking first place at the Spanish River Invitational
Golf: Liam Abbott, Fr., Jupiter Christian — Shot a field-low 32, leading the Eagles to a victory over South Fork
