JetBlue Airways just added another Colombian city for Florida travelers to add to the bucket list. Daily flights to Cali started Oct. 15, with limited introductory one-way fares starting at $139 one-way for the basic fare.
This makes the fourth Florida-Colombia route for JetBlue at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). The New York-based carrier added Barranquilla to its existing Cartagena and Medellín flights two weeks ago.
"The new daily service creates a convenient nonstop link to South Florida, supporting travel for customers, visiting friends and relatives, exploring the region or traveling for business," JetBlue said in a release.

Limited introductory fares start at $139 in JetBlue's main option and
$239 for the EvenMore fare, which brings extra legroom, priority security where available, early boarding, dedicated overhead bin space, and other perks.
JetBlue expanding aggressively in Fort Lauderdale
The new routes are part of JetBlue's aggressive push to become the dominant carrier in South Florida. Since the abrupt closure of its major competitor, Spirit, JetBlue has cut routes and airports elsewhere to pour resources into its services at FLL and add dozens of new or returning routes, with plans to reach 150 daily flights.
Since December 2025, JetBlue has added 12 nonstop destinations from FLL and increased daily departures by more than 75% compared with the same period last year, the carrier said.
The first flight of JetBlue's new, long-awaited domestic first-class option, BlueFirst, will arrive in Fort Lauderdale from Boston on Dec. 8.
Where is Cali, Colombia?
Cali, officially Santiago de Cali, is the capital of Valle del Cauca department in southwestern Colombia and the second-largest city in the country.
"Known as the 'Salsa Capital of the World,' Cali is renowned for its music and dance culture and serves as a major commercial and cultural center in southwestern Colombia," JetBlue said.

South America tourism rising in Florida
Florida has seen a rise in tourism from South America, which accounted for 27% of all visitors to the state in 2025, according to VisitFlorida.org. Colombia alone saw a 6% year-over-year increase in 2025, with 655,000 visitors to the Sunshine State.
Visitors from Florida's top source of tourism, Canada, have slowed in recent years due to backlash from President Donald Trump's on-again, off-again tariffs and frequent threats to annex the country.
In May, JetBlue announced plans to offer nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale and Caracas, Venezuela, by the end of the year. American Airlines had already resumed service there, with a temporary break after a pair of earthquakes devastated the area in June, killing thousands and displacing many more.
In December, Frontier Airlines is adding its first routes to the continent with nonstop connections between Orlando and Bogotá, Cartagena, and Medellín in Colombia, subject to government approval.
