The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office is offering a $3,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the July 30 fatal shooting of of a homeless man in Loxahatchee.

Deputies found Jason Michael Depperman's body at about 1:30 a.m. near the northwest corner of Southern Boulevard and D Road, near Boonies Wild West Saloon. Investigators say the shooting took place around midnight at the intersection.

Detective Daniel Hall said in an Aug. 21 video posted on social media that Depperman, who was homeless, was standing near a bridge at the intersection when he and another man began to argue. A witness said the man shot Depperman, then fled on foot.

Jason Michael Depperman was fatally shot on July 30 in Loxahatchee. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is offering a $3,000 reward for information that leads to the shooter.
