Trump fiddles while the world crumbles
President Trump’s recent decision to significantly reduce joint exercises with South Korea due to his very good relationship with [North Korea leader] Kim Jong Un is just another step in helping Russia in its war with Ukraine. North Korea is supplying Russia with missiles and other weapons, along with soldiers for its operations against Ukraine. President Trump has always been helpful to Russian President Vladimir Putin and has shown very little to no support for Ukraine. Since the U.S. Senate passed the Lindsey Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act and waiting for the House to confirm it, we will soon see if Trump will pass more real hard sanctions on Russia, like the ones he is planning for Iran.
I remember how Trump had told us how he could stop the war between Russia and Ukraine in 24 hours once he was elected. Guess that was just another Trump lie, like all the wars he has stopped. Trump has been working tirelessly on his vanity projects in Washington, D.C. and enriching himself and family. He's turned his back on America's allies and has shown repeatedly he has little concern for American leadership and protecting democracy in the world.

Climate change isn't acting like a hoax
So, we are being told that climate change and global warming do not exist and scientific documentation of those is fake news? Coal-burning polluting energy plants are good, but windmills are ugly and terrible. What about the dramatic increase in wildfires, flooding and tornados across this country? Does anyone in this insane administration actually watch the news?

Turning tin into affordability quite the stretch
The twists of logic some people will use never ceases to amaze me. The recent Paul Teller article “What the GOP can do to lower food prices“ is truly creative in its logic. The first clues in how this is going to go begin at the beginning of the column where it’s stated that we have established fair trade, military strength and energy dominance − none of which are true. In the article, they say the way to reduce food prices enters the realm of sheer speculation that ignores [the fact] that food costs come from a variety of factors. So, reducing the cost of materials for making cans might have a small impact on cost ( assuming vendors pass on the savings) but the reason for the cost of the cans is in the policies of the current administration: tariffs. So your solution is to solve the very problem the GOP created to begin with. In addition, other than prepping for a storm, how much of the average grocery bill is canned food? I would wager, not a lot.
