Trump offers neither boots nor bootstraps
Our president has signed another executive order against our nation's poor. He has redone the need for children’s vaccines, thus assuring greater disease, suffering and death in underprivileged citizens to go along with his decrease in pre-kindergarten education, school lunches and breakfasts and school aid for achievement. Those changes only assure poor education and an underprivileged population mired in failure and low income. Forget his anti-immigration stands and flaunting of the constitutional concept of immigration! These executive orders only destroy the masses of legal citizens seeking to achieve the promises of an upward path to a good life. We must oppose him and his lemming minions.

No fan of convention center hotel deal
Let me fix the headline regarding the new convention center hotel and the waiving of property taxes. “Related Ross Bought and Paid for City Commission and Mayor vote to Cheat West Palm Beach Residents.” That about sums it up as to where residents in West Palm Beach and the rest of the county stand when it comes to wealthy developers.

Blanche will only undermine the rule of law
Todd Blanche was confirmed by only Republican senators to be the next Attorney General of the United States. As assistant attorney general, he would routinely ignore court orders, block investigations of President Trump's associates like Jeffrey Epstein, and agree not to investigate any charges of tax fraud or corruption against Trump, his family or his businesses. Blanche committed “fraud on the court” by trying to funnel $10 billion of taxpayer money to Trump through a fake “settlement” of a fake lawsuit, and on Trump’s orders Blanche is now trying to funnel billions of dollars of taxpayer money to thousands of convicted criminals pardoned by Trump. Under Blanche, over 16,000 Justice Department employees have been fired or resigned in protest of mismanagement.
The Trump Manifesto, Project 2025, calls for the creation of a “post-Constitutional administration” where Donald Trump, through his Department of Justice, decides what is legal or not, regardless of what Congress or the Constitution say. Most Republican senators claimed they had to vote for Blanche to “protect the president." But Blanche’s job is to protect the Constitution and the people, not the president. As long as we have rubber stamp senators, like Rick Scott and Ashley Moody, no Floridian can live without fear of our government.

Dr. Fauci's no saint
Most Republican lawmakers want to demonize Dr. Anthony Fauci, and most Democratic lawmakers want to deify him. But, even putting partisan politics aside, it has to be honestly acknowledged that Fauci during the COVID pandemic got a number of things wrong and was less than candid about the way he helped funnel money to China's Wuhan Institute of Virology. Dr. Fauci is no medical hero in my book and I think Sen. Rand Paul was right to scrutinize him and right to want to hold Dr. Fauci in contempt for refusing to answer the senators' questions.
