Breakfast and brunch fans in central Palm Beach County will need to look elsewhere for their comfort foodfix.
Maple Street Biscuit Company has shuttered its Royal Palm Beachlocation at 11925 Southern Blvd., marking the end of the fast-casual chain’s footprint in the immediate local area.
The Royal Palm Beach closure is part of a broader wave of store shutdowns across Florida following parent company Cracker Barrel's divestiture of the brand. Cracker Barrel announced this month that it sold 35 Maple Street locations to Kentucky-based restaurant group Biscuit Belly, which plans to convert those sites over the next 18 to 24 months.
However, 16 locations that were not included in the transaction are permanently closing, including five across the Sunshine
State.

- Pembroke Pines: 10280 Pines Blvd.
- Brandon: 127 W. Bloomingdale Ave.
- Saint Johns: 1627 Racetrack Road
- St. Augustine: 39 Cordova St.
Founded in Jacksonville in 2012, Maple Street Biscuit Company built a dedicated following for its flaky biscuit sandwiches, house-made sausage gravy and fried chicken. Cracker Barrel acquired the chain in 2019 for $36 million, expanding its presence before recently shifting focus back to its core brand. The Royal Palm Beach closure marks the end of that run in the area, and for now, diners craving that comfort-food fix will need to look elsewhere.
