9-11 tragedy should trigger 11-3 vote
I have watched with rapt attention, the CNN 9/11 documentaries and feel a shiver down my spine. We do not have the president, FBI director or secretary of defense to handle another attack today or in our near future. Think long and hard before you go to the voting booth on Nov. 3. Choosing the wrong warrior for the American people will be disastrous. We have families of fallen soldiers denied benefits because President Trump did not get Congressional approval for his “war.” How many more wild--- choices of this president could result in horrific American casualties?

'Silly season' showing in political ads
We’re in election season, or as I call it “silly season.”
Byron Donalds leads the parade with his campaign ad stating that David Jolly, running as a Democrat for governor, wants to raise taxes on overtime and tips. I wonder how he’ll do that since Florida doesn’t have state income taxes? That’s silly. In another ad, he ticks off all the things he’ll do as governor like lower taxes, insurance, gas and groceries. Republicans, including Donalds, have been in control of the state for years and have had a super-majority for over a decade. Why has he waited until now to say he’ll do something about taxes and insurance? Does he really think we’re falling for it? That’s just silly.
He has the endorsements of Fox News, [President] Trump and now [Gov. Ron] DeSantis, although the governor's came begrudgingly. So, we Floridians should not expect any real change. Just more of the same culture war nonsense they’ve been spewing for years. Trump is controlling the puppet strings of DeSantis and will for Donalds, too, essentially giving us a third DeSantis term. Yes, Byron Donalds is a silly candidate but a vote for him isn’t just silly, it’s dangerous.

Let's not forget about those Epstein files
Donald Trump has, from the get-go, over-promised but under-delivered. His incalculable failures are growing by the day. There have been so many false or failed boasts that remembering them is nearly impossible. A leader who has failed so disastrously and so often would be unceremoniously removed from any company or country he was hired or elected to lead. Yet, Trump remains in office because enablers from the Republican Party won’t check his abuse of power and corruption. Florida's Ashley Moody wants a six-year term in the U.S. Senate. That must not happen. Likewise, if U.S. Rep. Brian Mast, and former Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer are elected in November they will cowardly support every one of Trump’s bad economic policies plus enable his administration to continue to conduct a wasteful and illegal war in the Middle East. You can be sure and you can certain that they will devote themselves to preventing the disclosure of contents of the Justice Department’s files about Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell that incriminate Trump and hundreds of others.
